There is a variety of wild life to view from the windows and garden, Locks Cottage is a mile up stream from the historic market town of Settle, where there are all services, shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The cottage is well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and limestone scenery in the area. The spectacular Lake District fells are within an hours drive. The 'Three Peaks', Ingleborough. Whernside and Pen-y-ghent, Malham Cove, White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls Walk are all easily accessible, as well as the Settle to Carlisle and the Giggleswick to Morecambe railway lines.

Sitting Room

View of the sitting room with real fire. The cottage has gas central heating and a very comfortable suit to sink into after a long walk along the banks of the River Ribble, or on Malham Moor. Watch T.V, DVD or a favourite video.

Dining Area

River Ribble

The river is only yards away from Locks Cottage. Lovely walks from door step of cottage. Stand on the foot bridge and watch salmon leap.

Mill Pond
