TESTIMONIAL
We have just returned from a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay in this lovely holiday cottage. It was very well equipped. We did a few good walks from the cottage itself, meaning our car could have a rest too! We also visited Clapham, Ribblehead viaduct, Hawes and Malham, where we viewed the nesting peregrine falcons, via the RSPB near Malham scar.
We were looking for a relaxing stay in the Dales with plenty of countryside to enjoy, day trips and long walks on the hills. Settle is a fine base. Janet , the property owner, has furnished and equipped the cottage well. We slept well and enjoyed watching ducks walking on the back lawn as we ate breakfast.
We were pleased when we arrived at locks cottage,we were welcomed by the owner; and she made us very welcome and showed us round. The cottage is in a nice location and is not for from the lovely town of Settle.
Had a lovely relaxing week in a cosy clean cottage in a really good location, shame it rained for three days but it didn’t stop us enjoying the beautiful scenery. The local town of Settle was lovely, the locals were very friendly.
