Originally the home of a mill worker, Locks Cottage is a peaceful haven situated in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a mill pond and is near the River Ribble. Lovely walks from the doorstep.
The self catering cottage has easy access to all the most beautiful North Yorkshire walks. Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent, Malham Cove, White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls Walk are all easy to get to from there, so you can take full advantage of its wonderful location.
The property is attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard, with full gas central heating and a fire should you wish to use it. Its warm and cosy ambience, as well as the stunning scenery surrounding it, the cottage has won a 4 star rating by the English Tourism Council.
Fully equipped with all the essentials, the property comprises of a sitting room with a dining area, with a TV and a kitchen full of all the appliances you would need.
The cottage is managed by the owner Mrs Janet Ewin-Newhouse, who is always available for help, advice, or any suggestions as needed.
